AD SPECIFICATIONS
Ad specifications and technical requirements
General acknowledgements:
> Deadline for ad reservations or cancellations is within the first 12 working days of each month. Reservations after this date are subject to change depending on the number of signatures (folios) and printing program of the magazine. Cancellations after this date shall not be acceptable.> In order for spoken and written reservations to become valid, an approved waybill shall be presented.
> Ads shall be delivered no later than 15th working day of publication date.
> The advertisers shall be responsible for changes not written quoted.
> The advertiser is obliged to send a proof print of the ad. If done otherwise, the advertiser shall be responsible for the outcome.
> An example of insert must be sent prior to publication of the magazine.

Technical Requirements
Acceptable File Format:PDF (Portable Document Format). Sent on CD or by e-mail.
The digital ads prepared in PDF format (PC or Mac) need to meet requirements below:
> The ad page with its bleed shall be centered on the PDF doc. so that 4 mm left from all trim edges and gutter safety for type is 5mm from each side of spread center.
> PDF documents shall be sent locked (secured).
> All images shall be in CYMK format.
> Illustrations embedded shall be high quality EPS or TIFF format (not JPEG or GIF). And not compressed.
> If LENS is used in a Freehand file and an image is embebded under the LENS, this image shall be saved in the TIFF format.
> All fonts shall be embedded and subset at 100%, as well as other characteristics.
> All colors used shall be CMYK
> All files prepared in Freehand format must be converted.
> When ad is sent or mailed, it is obligatory to check and get control approval by calling 0212 410 31 75.
Proof Specifications: Kodak Approval; Imation Matchprint Digital Halftone; or Progressive press proofs
Acceptable Media: CD; e-mail
Production
