Clement's
After many years of neglect, the Sait Halim Paşa Yalı (shoreline mansion) is regaining its former splendour: a number of rooms in the mansion are being used as a museum, and it is home to the Clement's restaurant that serves international fare. The restaurant gets its name from an 1865 painting by Felix Auguste Clement in the mansion's Selamlık area. Clement's serves Turkish, Ottoman, European, Far Eastern and South American fare. Clement's also has a rich wine list. Specialities include soufflé with warm goat's cheese and rocket, shrimp and crab soup served with garnishes, and grouper glazed with soy sauce. End your meal with a raspberry truffle and cooked quince served with a caramel sauce and clotted cream. Address: Köybaşı Cad. No: 117 Yeniköy.
