200 gr. Shrimps (cleaned and boiled)
1 cup rice (cleaned and washed)
1 tablespoon butter
- cup olive oil
1 medium onion ( thinly chopped)
2 tomatoes (diced)
2 green peppers (thinly chopped)
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper.
Cut the shrimps into smaller pieces. Stir fry them in butter.
Add the onion and fry for 3 minutes.
Add the green peppers and tomatoes. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Add salt and pepper. Mix well and add the rice.
Add the olive oil and sugar.
Pour water to cover all and cook first over medium and later low heat until the rice absorbes the liquids for 10-15 minutes.
At the end, mix all once and put kitchen paper or a clean napkin over the pan and replace the cover. Wait for a few minutes before serving.
Serve hot.
