The wedding was held in the Perivolas hotel in the village of Oia. The hotel is the ideal venue for special occasions such as weddings and honeymoons. Accommodation is in traditional houses classes as apartments, suites or special suites. All the white stone houses have a stunning view of the sea and are decorated in a minimalist style.
The wedding ceremony was held in the Presidential Suite. Inside, a few lavender pillows were the only touches of colour in the appropriately stark white room. The suite includes a kitchen, two double beds, a steam bath, a Jacuzzi and even a swimming pool. An olive tree on a rock stands in the middle of the room-incongruous, but somehow right. The ceremony itself was held on the terrace at sunset, which was followed by a full moon.
The wedding planners had arranged a photographer, cameraman and the catering. The open buffet was filled with delicious fare. The bride and groom cut the cake and danced their traditional first dance.
The party began with romantic music followed by dancing. The evening ended by the pool-the ideal end to a unique wedding.
Santorini Perivolas is the perfect place to hold a small, simple and romantic wedding, or to celebrate a second honeymoon or even a special birthday party.
