How could a hotel that doesn't even have a beach be chosen the best hotel in the Caribbean-famous for its palm trees and sandy beaches? The Caves in the northern corner of the town of Negril in Jamaica did just that. The hotel features 10 handcrafted villas perched on top of volcanic cliffs, allowing guests to experience another face of Jamaica. The villas were designed by the owner of the hotel to resemble tropical huts and are individually named. You can also enjoy an intimate dinner for two in a natural cave. The aim of the property is to allow guests to enjoy their privacy, but a number of activities are also organised.
